BEGINNERS HEBREW CLASS CONTINUES

BEGINNERS HEBREW CLASS CONTINUES
Beginning 3 p.m., Saturday, February 28
We will re-establish our Beginners Hebrew Class. It will be a self-study class but the student rabbi and the ISJL Fellow will help when in town. The book we will be using is Learn Hebrew Today, alef-Bet for Adults by Paul Michael Yedwab with Howard I. Bogot. It is the first in a series. It is designed for adults who want to use Hebrew when celebrating Judaism at home and in temple. We will first learn to pronouce the letters and vowels in basic blessings. We will strive to read over thirty essential blessings and prayers, including the Barechu and the Shema, the Ve'ahavta, Mi Chamocha, the Torah blessings and the Kiddush for erev Shabbat.
Please let me know if you are interested in the class because I will be there no matter how small the class is, but would not want to show up with no one else there this weekend.
